Preview: Animatie voor selfservice bibliotheken

Media lenen bij een bibliotheek stoffig en ouderwets? In ieder geval niet bij de bibliotheken van Zwolle en Deventer. Hun website is dynamisch en up-to-date, en alle processen voor het lenen, terugbrengen en verlengen van media (want boeken mogen we niet zeggen!) is volledig geautomatiseerd. Om deze processen duidelijk te maken voor de bezoekers van deze bibliotheken, ben ik gevraagd door Virvie en info.nl om een instructionele animatie te maken die de werking van de automaten voor het lenen en terugbrengen van media duidelijk maakt. De animatie is binnenkort online, maar bij deze alvast een preview!

Preview: Library selfservice animation

Storyboard images for a new instructional animation for Dutch libraries library-selfservice Lending media at a library dusty and dated? Definitely not the case in the libraries of Zwolle and Deventer. Their website is dynamic and up-to-date, and all their processes for lending, returning and extending media (because we can’t say books!) is fully automated. In order to make these processes understandable to the customers of these libraries, I was asked by Virvie and info.nl to make an instructional animation of the selfservice process of lending and returning media. The animation will be online soon, but here is a preview!

New Stuey cartoon for Modulair Student magazine

Stuey,the character I designed for the Dutch Open University, plays an important role in student magazine Modulair.

Stuey plays a monthly part in student magazine Modulair, for all students of theOpen University Netherlands. Stuey is a medium for the OU to communicate all kinds of information that is of importance to students of this distance learning institute. Stuey has a cartoon in the magazine Modulair, and an animation on the website in e-modulair . Stuey might be a bit cocky and obnoxious sometimes, he is also very intelligent, and participates in just about every study on offer.

This cartoon is in Dutch, it is not always an improvement to translate, but in this cartoon Stuey is ready for summer vacation, but becauseh he is slightly stressed out about the last exams and things to do, he has no time to make plans for the summer. Luckily his buddy and dog Perro, arranges for Stuey to take part in a stress management course offered by the Open University.

Nieuwe Stuey cartoon voor Modulair

Stuey, de eigenwijze mascotte van de Open Universiteit Nederland heeft een eigen cartoon in studentenmagazine Modulair.

Stuey speelt iedere maand een rol in het magazine Modulair, voor alle studenten van Open Universiteit Nederland. Stuey is een medium voor de OU om allerlei zaken die van belang zijn voor de student op een leuke manier onder de aandacht te brengen. Omdat de Open Universiteit een instituut voor afstandsstudies is, is het van belang zaken die voor de studenten van belang zijn goed te communiceren. Stuey heeft een cartoon in het magazine Modulair, en een animatie op de website in e-modulair.
