Terug van een ontspannen vakantie
Na 4 weken ontspannen bij de fjorden in Noorwegen, de stranden in Barcelona en Sitges en de grachten van Amsterdam, ben ik sinds deze week weer aan het werk. Omdat het nog steeds hoogseizoen is en dit nog rustige tijden zijn heb ik nu eindelijk tijd voor hoognodige updates aan mijn websites. De hier afgebeelde illustratie heet ‘Vakantie’ en was op de valreep van mijn vakantie geleverd aan Ziggo Magazine. Back from a relaxing vacation
After 4 weeks of relaxing by the fjords in Norway, the beaches in Barcelona and Sitges and the canals of Amsterdam, I started work again this week. As it is still high season and these are quiet times, I finally have time for some nexessary maintenance and updating on my websites. The image pictured here is called ‘Vacation’ and was made for Ziggo cable company magazine. NLkabel is the association of cable companies in the Netherlands. They have approached me to make a series of six illustrations for a new brochure that show the reader the possibilities of cable .The brochure consists of six chapters: Fiberglass on every corner, Locally and regionally, View on entertainment, Opportunities for entrepreneurs and Sustainable digital. Each chapter has a matching illustration. Nlkabel has chosen to use the cover of the brochure as a background for their stand at the VNG annual conference on 7 and June 8 (NLkabel is key sponsor). The brochure was used for the first time at this event. NLkabel is looking into the possibilities of using the illustrations in digital media as well.

NLkabel is de vereniging van kabelbedrijven. Zij heeft mij benaderd om een serie van zes illustraties te maken voor een nieuwe brochure, deze geeft de lezer een beeld van de mogelijkheden van de kabel. De brochure bestaat uit zes hoofdstukken te weten: Glasvezel op elke straathoek, Lokaal en regionaal, Kijk op entertainment, Kansen voor ondernemers en Duurzaam digitaal. Elk hoofdstuk is voorzien van een bijpassende illustratie. Nlkabel heeft er tijdens het jaarlijkse VNG-congres op 7 en 8 juni (NLkabel is kernsponsor), voor gekozen om de cover van de brochure ook te gebruiken voor de advertenties en voor de achterwand van de stand. De brochure is op dit evenement ook voor het eerst gebruikt. NLkabel bekijkt de mogelijkheden om de zes illustraties ook in digitale media in te zetten.

Illustraties voor Vastgoed, tijdschrift vor makelaars en de woningmarkt
Eigenaar zijn van een apartement kan problemen geven. Vooral de vereninging van eigenaren (VVE) kan vragen oproepen. Deze vragen worden beantwoordt in dit artikel voor Vastgoed, waarvoor ik deze illustraties heb gemaakt.

Illustraties voor een democratisch bedrijf
Dit is één van de illustraties die ik heb gemaakt voor Ziggo. Het artikel gaat over een nieuw soort vergadering, waar alle medewerkers hun stem uit kunnen brengen door in een genummerd vak op de grond te gaan staan. Een beetje zoals een traditioneel Zwitsers referendum dus! Voor het Ziggo Topix magazine maak ik iedere maand 1 illustratie en 1 infographic.

New illustrations for Ziggo Topix Magazine
This is one of the illustrations I made for the new issue of Topix, a magazine for Ziggo, the fast-growing media and communications company in the Netherlands. The article was about a new type of meeting, where all attendees voice their opinion by standing in the appropriate boxes on the floor. Kind of like the traditional Swiss referendum. For their magazine I make one illustration and one infographic every month.

Gelukkig nieuwjaar allemaal! Dit jaar begon met een hele nieuwe opdrachtgever. Vlak voor het nieuwe jaar ben ik gevraagd om een fullpage illustratie en een paar kleinere spots te maken voor lifestyle magazine Villa d’arte, dat bovendien verstuurd wordt naar alle VISA kaarthouders. Dit hoofdartikel gaat over bijzondere beleggingen,zoals kunst, juwelen of whiskey. En hier is een preview! Klik voor wat groter plaatje.
